Car leasing is a priority service provided by the leading company Avis in Ukraine. For more than 27 years of activity, the company has established itself on the market and confirmed its competitiveness with reliability and quality of services. Today, hundreds of grateful customers across the country use leasing cars. But there are urgent questions for users: is it possible to travel outside of Ukraine with a leased car, and what documents are needed for this?
Today, a financial leasing agreement is the most attractive form of using a car that is not owned. This is the most profitable alternative option for buying a car for both legal entities and individuals, the most convenient format of relations between the lessor and the lessee.
Before signing the agreement for a certain period, the lessee provides a complete package of documents at the request of the lessor. As a rule, this is a standard package, which consists of:
A citizen's passport (ID card), his TIN, driver's license, certificates from financial institutions confirming the solvency of the service user - for individuals.
Documents confirming the registration of the enterprise and payment of taxes (statutes, certificates, extracts), balance sheet and financial report of the current state of the company, certificates of bank accounts - for legal entities.
The leasing agreement contains a full range of data about the lessor and the lessee, the responsibilities of the parties, the term of the agreement (the duration of the lease), the conditions for making payments, the name, condition and technical characteristics of the car chosen by the user. Thus, the car leasing agreement is a full-fledged and detailed document that reflects and confirms the personal data of the owner and user of the car.
The package of necessary and accompanying documents for traveling abroad by car contains:
driver's foreign passport or ID card;
a driver's license, including an international IDP model (it is mandatory when crossing territories/moving in many countries that have not ratified the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic);
vehicle registration certificate with official and identification marks;
an international insurance policy ("Green Card" for a trip to Europe). Power of attorney and other possible documents
If the driver is not the owner of the vehicle, the car is leased or it is a rental or long-term car rental, additional supporting documents are required. If the car leasing or rental agreement does not provide for the crossing of the borders of Ukraine, it is necessary to obtain permission to travel abroad for the leased/rented car. This is an agreement concluded with the lessor/lessor on additional terms, has a legal status and provides for additional conditions for using the vehicle.
The Avis company is an international brand whose representative office in Ukraine has developed a number of comprehensive programs to increase the availability of the service of traveling abroad on rented and leased cars. The company also offers electric cars for rent - a service that has become the most popular and demanded by users recently.
